1. Log in to cPanel
2. Open File Manager >> public_html folder >> find php.ini then right click on it >> Edit
Note: If you do not have php.ini generated, please go back to cPanel Home page, then simply click on Tweak php.ini >> Copy >> Modify
3. Press Ctrl + F in the browser window and type magic_quotes_gpc into the search bar
and change the value to Off
4. Click on Change button.
5. After this you may wish to add the following line to your htaccess file in order apply changes for all the subfolders you have:
suPHP_ConfigPath /home/cPanel_username/public_html
